By Referral Realty is the DBA of Tate Realty Professionals, LLC and it represents the method by which we have developed our business for continued growth. Referrals are the resultant of serving the client with integrity, knowledge, and reliability, and the client, in turn, is comfortable referring us to their friends, family, and associates because of their knowledge that their referral will be served professionally. And, to continually remain top of mind with clients and referrals, items of value are regularly mailed to their homes. These items of value provide relative and pertinent information to those receiving the mailings, and the content covers a variety of subjects including real estate market updates.

 

The Broker of Record and the owner is Ron Tate, and he has served San Antonio and surrounding counties in all facets of the real estate industry since 1989. Ron was born in Ohio, graduated from the University of Michigan, has lived in many states, but has resided in San Antonio for the past 30 years. The majority of the real estate business involvement has been in residential listings and working with buyers, but there is also a large property management component, and Ron has extensively worked with investors and with those seeking commercial assistance as well.

 

Our in office support is grounded in Kendall McCool who has held this position since we moved to our current location eight years ago. Her knowledge and desire to serve is very evident as the office continually receives feedback applauding her sensitivity to their needs and the timeline in which she accomplishes tasks. This level of professionalism is reflected in how Kendall facilitates the needs of clients, owners, tenants, and the other By Referral Realty agents.

 

By Referral Realty has 16 agents, ( a fluctuating number), and in addition to their being primed in integrity, reliability, and professional service, there is a constant emphasis on contract and negotiating knowledge to best serve clients. The changes in the real estate business, mostly powered by technology, allows for all the agents, other than Ron, to work from their homes. Communication and equipment shortcuts and property information availability has changed how the business is now performed. At one time Ron had 6 RE/MAX offices with 150 agents, and a monthly overhead in addition to $120,000.00 per month. Now, agents work from their homes, come to the office for training and to occasionally meet clients and/or use office equipment, and to bring in paperwork. And, they have the capacity to handle more clients in less time than in previous years. Clients no longer need us for property information, they need us for contract and negotiating expertise, and they need us to seamlessly see a contract through to closing. Competence, integrity, and reliability remain our commitment to the client.
